Eve Vaughn has written some mediocre IR fiction that has shown potential in unique plots and characterization. IMO, this book is another in the attempts to bring something different, but it fell flat, like so many IR stories done today.
Anyway, it was a quick read that seem intriguing up until the couple has sex. Then it goes predictably awry with some seemingly trite motivators thrown in.
My take? Stick with characterization and giving less anti-climactic turns towards the end. Engross the reader by leading to a better climax and anticipated ending. Simple story plot. Just sayin'.
