Took me some time to get to this series. I took a leaf from my tendency with KA series and started out with the second book, mostly because this plot with Brody and Elise held more appeal.
The 1st book, a menage, which I'm normally not in the mood to read, may be next coz a glimpse of the threesome in this book was...interesting.
Loved the heroine's gumption, and I doubly loved the hero's...everything (except his friendship with a certain woman)!
Yet, it still took me too long to read this story because there was something unappealing about the sequence and development of the plot. Also, though I give this couple credit, their characters and backstories just weren't give enough emotion or colour to justify the seriousness assigned to them.
Full review to come. Then, maybe my rating will inch up. Or not:D
